The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Ottawa is pleased to invite applications for its Limb Preservation Fellowship starting on July 1st 2025. This specialized 6–12-month program is open to qualified physicians who have completed an accredited vascular surgery residency and are seeking advanced training in open and endovascular procedures, as well as wound care, with a focus on limb preservation. The fellowship offers exposure to one of the highest volumes of distal bypass surgeries and advanced lower extremity revascularization procedures in Ontario, Canada’s most populous province.
Participants will receive comprehensive training in wound management through the Interdisciplinary Limb Preservation Clinic, which is led by experts in Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery, Infectious Disease, and Wound Care. Graduates of the program will be eligible and encouraged to pursue credentialing as wound care specialists upon successfully passing the certification examination. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact Dr. Sudhir Nagpal, Fellowship Program Director, at snagpal@toh.ca to initiate the application process.
