Horizon Health Network is seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating vascular conditions, performing surgical procedures, and providing comprehensive patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of acute care, pediatrics, and pain management, along with proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health record systems such as Cerner. The Vascular Surgeon will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Who you are
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with completion of a residency in vascular surgery.
- Board certification in vascular surgery is preferred.
- Proven experience in acute care settings, particularly in pediatrics if applicable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Commitment to ongoing education and research within the field of vascular surgery.
