The University of Ottawa/Ottawa Hospital is pleased to invite applications for an exciting career opportunity in academic vascular and endovascular surgery at our institution. The Division of Vascular Surgery is seeking a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certified vascular surgeon, eligible to practice medicine in the province of Ontario. The successful candidate will be proficient in all aspects of general vascular and endovascular surgery with additional fellowship training or equivalent years in practice experience in advanced endovascular aortic procedures involving the aortic arch, aortic dissections, branched and fenestrated cases. The successful candidate is expected to participate fully in the educational activities of vascular surgery training program and divisional research activities. While additional post graduate credentials such as Masters level or higher degrees in epidemiology, education, patient safety and quality improvement are not required to secure this position they may enhance an application if deemed to support the academic mission.
