  &lt;li&gt;Bilingual language skills (French and English) are preferred, or a strong commitment to acquire the necessary language skills at the level needed to practice medicine in Quebec.       <title>Vascular Surgery, Academic Surgeon, Queen’s University</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;img src="https://vascular.ca/resources/Pictures/Job%20Postings/Queen's%20University.png" alt="" title="" border="0" width="153" height="120" align="left" style="margin: 20px;"&gt;The Department of Surgery (&lt;a href="http://www.surgery.queensu.ca" target="_blank"&gt;www.surgery.queensu.ca&lt;/a&gt;) at Queen’s University is seeking an Academic Vascular Surgeon position specializing in vascular/endovascular surgery. The candidate will have completed vascular fellowship training at the commencement of their appointment or have been practicing vascular/endovascular surgery with an interest in an academic career. Additional fellowship training as a Masters or PhD would also be advantageous. The preferred candidate must have an excellent record of success working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary clinical environment. They must demonstrate strong potential for outstanding educational contributions and significant academic and scholarly research in line with the mission of the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery. Evidence of current involvement and commitment to research through the submission of a research dossier outlining an academic plan and career goals is requested. Applicants will also be involved in undergraduate and post-graduate medical education. Submission of an educational dossier is encouraged.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Qualified applicants will hold an MD degree, have completed an accredited residency program in vascular surgery and received certification in Vascular Surgery. Any postgraduate/fellowship qualifications should be completed prior to appointment. Candidates must be eligible for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and hold certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery and participate in the vascular surgery on-call schedule at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the teaching, supervision, and mentorship of undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate students. Endovascular surgical and intervention will be done collaboratively with Interventional Radiology.&lt;/p&gt;
