The Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery at SHN is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join a team of dedicated vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists.

Candidates must have experience in diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of vascular disease. This includes: open and EVAR repair of aortic aneurysms, carotid disease, dialysis access creation, pacemaker implant, peripheral bypass and angioplasty as well as venous disease. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be willing to work within interdisciplinary teams, including advanced wound care nurses. Experience with treatment of diabetic ulcers is preferable. Experience in Quality Improvement is also an asset.

The successful candidate must be registered or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and have successfully completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Emphasis will be placed on candidate(s) with experience working in a community hospital setting with strong communication skills.
