The Division of Vascular Surgery at Vancouver General Hospital is seeking an academically oriented vascular surgeon for a full-time clinical position.  Vancouver General Hospital is one of the largest in Canada with a very broad referral base and the division takes pride in providing tertiary and quaternary level Vascular care to British Columbia and the Yukon.  In addition, the division supports and works closely with many other critical services at VGH including cardiac surgery, trauma, oncology, transplant and spine.  It is a leading Royal College Vascular Surgery training program and candidates would be expected to be active participants in the training program and have appointments at the University of British Columbia. Experience in advanced endovascular therapy and interest in basic science and/or clinical research would be an asset.  The division has six full time members who practice all aspects of vascular surgery and an alternate payment contract is currently in place.  Successful candidates must be eligible for licensure in British Columbia, Canada.
